NESCAC Mascots: The Showdown
Alright… After the last post with the new Conn College Camel, it’s time we settle the score and figure this out. We allllll know that NESCAC mascots are absolutely ridiculous, but I think it gives the conference a little something extra. Rather then having boring Eagles and normal animals, NESCAC has some crazy mascots! Besides Middlebury. Panthers? Come on now, be creative. Be a chicken or a purple cow, or even a giant purple letter “A,” which is a Lord Jeff (I think). Now those are scary… So here all the macots/logos, and three polls… What do you think?

Apple iPad (aka Giant iTouch)
Alright, so the Apple iPad is going to be release this Saturday in store around the US. I really don’t know what to think of this thing yet… I have owned an iTouch (before it went through the laundry), and the devise was pretty legit. This iPad seems like the same exactly thing, but bigger. Why? Better browsing experience, sure, but does it come with a 13 inch arm-band so I can go for a run with my iPad attached to my arm? No.

HADLEY, Mass. – Senior attacker Steve Dachille (Garden City, N.Y.) of Connecticut College was chosen as the NESCAC Player of the Week for April 5, 2010. Dachille tallied five times in both of the Camels’ one-goal victories last week, as Connecticut College improved to 8-0 on the season and 4-0 in NESCAC play. Saturday afternoon at Bowdoin, Dachille netted the game-winner in overtime as the Camels erased a five-goal halftime deficit to earn an 8-7 decision over the Polar Bears.
